We have had some glitchy issues with our phones over the
past two weeks, where some folks calling get disconnected after it rings once
or the line rings and rings and no one picks up. We assure you we are here and
have folks ready to answer!
We are working with Verizon and our phone provider to
solve the issue, but of course each company says the problem must be the fault
of the other! (I am sure ya’ll know how that is!) If you try to reach us and
cannot get an answer via the phone, please shoot us an email using the firm
website contact link or simply send to firstname.lastname@example.org (Beth
Brubaker, office manager) or to email@example.com
(attorney Malissa Giles) and let us know you have not been able to get through
on the phone. We will be glad to call you back and help!
Malissa Lambert Giles
Congratulations are in order for Giles & Lambert, P.C. attorney and managing partner, Malissa Giles! Ms. Giles has been named a 2019 Virginia Super Lawyer in the area of consumer bankruptcy for the thirteenth year in a row from 2007 to 2019. What is a Super Lawyer, you may ask? According to the Super Lawyers website, “Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. This selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.” (www.superlawyers.com)
The article below gives you some ideas of ways to pay. If you’re struggling with tax or other debt and don’t see a way out, contact us at Giles & Lambert to see if bankruptcy could help. Note that tax debt is often (but not always!) non-dischargeable, but bankruptcy still may give you the option to restructure the payment of the tax debt or get rid of other debt to give you the breathing room to pay your taxes. If you are struggling to pay and want to learn whether bankruptcy can help you, give us a call!
